Closed all Major Holidays except New Years No Restrooms or water at the start. Restrooms are at Starbucks and New Seasons Grocery. TRAIL DESCRIPTIONS: Walk 1. Sellwood/Oaks Bottom - Sanction # 76478, YRE 412 10K Rated 1. Suitable for strollers and may be difficult for wheelchairs. Pets allowed on leash . This route is on paved paths and sidewalks and dirt trails. It is a pretty stroll on the Johnson Creek trail and Oaks Bottom Nature area, with a chance to view water fowl and Osprey. Lots of quaint antique shops, boutiques, and restaurants near the start point. There’s something for everyone. There are restrooms along the route. WOC: Clubs, Park Trails, Pioneer Church, Multnomah Co. National Challenge: Riverwalk
Walk 2. Cr Walk 3. **Changed** Bridges of Springwater Corridor—Sanction # 76482, YRE 0873 Rated 1+ You will go across the Historic Sellwood Bridge, walk along the Willamette Greenway. Enjoy restaurants and shops at John’s Landing. You will see older historic homes along Corbett Ave. WOC: Clubs, Multnomah Co. National Challenge: River Walk DIRECTIONS: Northbound on I-5 take Corbett St. exit 298. Turn right at the stop sign to SW Nebraska St. (approx. 1 mile). Turn left to SW
Macadam (approx. 3 blocks). Turn right onto Macadam to Sellwood
Bridge. Turn left onto Sellwood Bridge and continue to 13th Av.
Columbia Sportswear is on the left just past 13th Ave.
Southbound take 299A, Lake Oswego, Johns Landing, Macadam exit south to Macadam to Sellwood Bridge. Continue as above. INFORMATION: Joe & Karen Kelly |
