This walks takes you through some of the new and improved areas along State St. and “A: St. a chance to window shop and look at public art before traveling through some of the older parts of LO. Lone up the trail, walkers will again see a part of LO not normally seen and have a chance to see some great views of Ridgecrest Dr. before going back down the trial to the finish . Iron Mountain railroad once hauled iron down to the old Smelt furnace in Rogers Park. WOC: Clubs, “L”, Clackamas Co. National Challenge: Railroads Marylhurst University Walk: Sanction #76437,YRE 1611, 11K is rated a 1 + and is not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers. The route will go thru historic George Rogers Park along the Willamette River with an old iron smelter chimney, Marylhurst University Campus and is mostly on paved sidewalks and roads. Views of the Willamette River. WOC: Park Trails, Colleges, “L”, and Clubs, Cemetery, Clackamas Co.. National Challenges: River Walks, Colleges DIRECTIONS: Foot Traffic, 333 S State Street. I -5 Northbound. Take exit 299A, Lake Oswego/Highway 43, Macadam Blvd to Lake Oswego. Foot Traffic will be on your left in the Lake Place Mall. I-5 Southbound: Take exit 292 and turn left onto Kruse Way/Lake Oswego. Turn left on Boones Ferry Road and then right at Country Club Road Country Club Rd becomes A street.
