TRAIL DESCRIPTION:   Sanction #76290, YRE 1531, 10K   RATED 3  

This is the crown jewel of Portland walks, taking you to the Zoo, the World Forestry Center, Hoyt Arboretum, Japanese Garden, International Rose Test Garden, Washington Park, Forest Park and vistas of the City of Portland and Mt. Hood.  Mostly wooded trails with some paved Streets .  Not suitable for wheel chairs or strollers.  Pets are allowed on leash and must obey scoop laws.  Trails may be slippery during the rainy season.  Wear appropriate footwear. WOC: Park Trails, Clubs and Flowers, Washington Co.

DIRECTIONS:  I-405 (Stadium Freeway) take Hwy 26 west and EXIT at #72 (Zoo).  World Forestry Center Museum is at the upper left of the Zoo parking lot.  You could take the MAX TRAIN, which stops right at the Forestry Center.
