ASPEN TRAIL
A beautiful walk through Portland's spectacular Forest Park. Almost all
of this walk is on the Wildwood and other trails through a portion of Forest
Park. It's hard to imagine that you are so close to, actually in, a major
city as you walk through this magnificent gem that is a part of Portland.
The walk starts and finishes from a street in the hills of NW Portland with
it's beautiful homes and views. This
is not just another city walk as it allows the walker to
experience the feel of the forest within a city.

Forestry Center
This is the crown jewel of Portland walks, taking you to the Zoo, the World Forestry Center, Hoyt Arboretum, Japanese Garden, International Rose Test Garden, Washington Park, Forest Park and vistas of the City of Portland and Mt. Hood. Mostly wooded trails with some paved Streets. more. . . |

ALEXANDRA BRIDGE
This walk takes you on some stairways
in NW Portland to the 'Alexandra St. Bridge built in 1922 with its
distinctive ironwork, then to the 1914 Colonial Revival house, White
Shield Center that was once a home for unwed mothers. The path will take
you past a City of Portland water tank into Forest Park (parts of the
trail could be muddy in the rainy season) and on the Leif Erickson trail
before you head back to the finish.

COLUMBIA RIVER/AIRPORT WAY
Two walks: Walk 1. Columbia River Walk 2.
IKEA/Wetlands walk You will walk 3km along the beautiful Columbia River and 2km of the walk follows a waterway that is part of Portland’s 40 mile loop trail. There is an abundant supply of water fowl. The trail is on bike paths, sidewalks and natural trails. more. . .
