2008 Columbia River Gorge Biennial Classic: We will be selling our World Famous Hot Dogs at lunchtime on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. POTLUCK DINNER There will be a potluck dinner at 6 PM on Friday evening, June 13th, at The Overlook Campground. We reserve the entire campground for the Gorge weekend. If you are from out of town there is a market in Cascade Locks at which you can purchase items for the potluck. Columbia River Volkssport Club will provide hamburgers, beef and meatless, buns and lemonade. Stronger beverages will have to be provided by you. SALMON DINNER Join your fellow volkswalkers on Saturday evening, June 14th, for a salmon bake presented by the Warm Springs Indian Tribe. The meal will be prepared using the traditional pit method and will include entertainment. Pre-registration is required by May 14th, 2008, so we can provide an accurate count. The cost is $25 per person. STERNWHEELER CRUISE A two hour Sternwheeler Cruise is available to volkswalkers at a reduced price. This cruise is available all four days at 12 PM and 3 PM. |
